One Exciting Month Away
It’s officially spring and the 2018 Escarpment Project is just a month away on Saturday, April 21st.
Escarpment Project team-leaders are buzzing with excitement as the day draws nearer with all the things happening.
We are pleased to announce that for a short time Albion Falls will be open to a limited number of Escarpment Project volunteers on clean up day. There are some restrictions including age and the number of volunteers allowed into the gorge. There are other rules as well. If you are interested in cleaning the Albion Falls area you can contact us for complete details and sign up before April 14th.
Not in Hamilton? That’s okay. We have teamed up with Southern Ontario Geocachers to clean up 40 Mile Creek in Grimsby, In Burlington we are helping Friends of Sheldon Creek in cleaning up Sheldon Creek. If you are in the St Catharines area we’re teaming up with Friends of Short Hills Park to help clean Short Hills Provincial Park as well.
The volunteer appreciation BBQ will again include a beer tent and life size lawn bowling. We will also be selling rain barrels starting today. Order yours here and then pick it up at the BBQ.
New this year we are holding an open mic for musicians. Space is limited so any musicians interested in playing can send us a link to their demo before April 14th.
