Good Friday Hiking – McMaster Innovation Park Joins Escarpment Project
For years people have made a connection with nature on Good Friday by making it a tradition to go hiking. This Good Friday please keep the tradition a positive experience by staying safe on the trails. Just last week a couple was rescued near Devil’s Punchbowl after getting too close to the edge and slipping. (see the story here.) Please also remember to take care of the environment when you are hiking by carrying out any cups, bottles or containers that you bring with you or by putting them in the nearest garbage can when you are done with them.
With just over 3 weeks from The Escarpment Project’s 4th annual escarpment clean-up The Escarpment Project is happy to announce another corporate team taking part in this year’s event. McMaster Innovation Park is putting a team together and has published the video below with Escarpment Project founder, Greg Lenko to promote this year’s clean-up initiative. The Escarpment Project is excited to have McMaster Innovation Park on board and hope that their leadership will inspire more businesses and corporations to create teams to take part in the annual clean-up initiative to help take care of our environment.
Other corporate teams include Starbucks and ArcelorMittal Dofasco.
This year’s Escarpment Project clean-up takes place Sunday, April 26 beginning at 11AM with a volunteer BBQ to follow at Punchbowl Country Market.
