2015 Escarpment Project

In case you missed it, congratulations once again to the 2014 army of volunteers! We had the largest turnout in Hamilton history at a volunteer environmental clean-up. Over 425 fantastic, hardworking volunteers showed up to the escarpment on Sunday April 27, 2014 and removed over 700 garbage bags plus furniture, car parts, bikes, scrap metal, coffee cups, plastic water bottles and even a newspaper box.

We are now getting things set for the 2015 Escarpment Project clean-up. It happens on April 26 at 11am with a BBQ to follow at Punchbowl Country Market. We look forward to past volunteers showing up and also welcome new volunteers. Remember to let us now you’re coming so we know how many supplies we need by clicking here

Thanks to financial support from councillors; Sam Merulla, Tom Jackson, Matthew Green, Scott Duvall, Doug Conley and Chad Collins. It’s great to have councillors like this on board who care about the environment.

Here is the first of several videos for this years clean-up.

Thanks for being a part of a greater Hamilton.
